GUS biocide distribution
In order to support the population affected by recent flooding, GUS (flood, fire, wind, oil, vandalism) has provided a professional grade biocide free of charge. This operation has subsequently allowed the victims to benefit from invaluable advice in the crucial stage of decontamination.
The distribution, which was initially planned for 2 days and 2 locations, was extended to 4 days (May 15 – 18, 2017) and 6 locations: Montréal, Gatineau, Laval, Trois-Rivières, Shawinigan, and Lourdes (near Joliette). Upon realizing the scale of need, a flying team was also deployed, allowing for support efforts to reach a maximum of flood victims across Quebec and Ontario. As a result, more than 2 500 bottles of biocide were distributed.
We believes this action was the best way to join collective efforts in aiding the flood victims and would also like to thank everyone who had contributed to the success of the distribution.
