GUS, founded in 1991 by Doris Landry and Louise Larochelle, two entrepreneurs from the Quebec region, has undergone remarkable evolution over the years. Initially focused on education and operational standards, the company has earned an enviable reputation among insurance companies by offering a comprehensive and innovative range of post-disaster services, all under one roof.
In November 2023, François Hétu was appointed as the president of GUS, bringing his vision and expertise to the company’s leadership. Under his guidance, GUS continues to represent one of the largest networks in the Canadian industry. Notably, the company is now under the ownership of René-Charles Landry, the founders' son, who is dedicated to carrying forward the family legacy while embracing innovative directions for the future.
GUS’s history is a testament to perseverance, innovation, and success in the field of post-disaster services in Canada.
In order to fulfill the guidelines and requirements set by insurers and claim adjusters, our professionals hold several certifications to guarantee quality, craftsmanship and satisfy the highest industry standards. In addition, GUS constantly refines its techniques and ensures the expertise of its staff through ongoing in-house training.
